I hesitated at the thought of doing something like this because it is impossible to be able to thank everyone that contributes to who I am and where I am but I thought I would try. In the aftermath of a successful -- more successful than anticipated -- tour in Japan, I feel that for once I should open myself up a little. It is a hard thing for me. It is one thing to be greasy and loving to our Angels but it is another to write something from deep inside my heart! So please treat this gently. It is my heart and it was very hard to write.
I think first of all I will thank our Angels and everyone that supports us officially or not. It is amazing to feel so successful when we stand in the shadows of sunbaedeul on stage and we still are successful -- maybe not as successful but we are not unknown. We are slowly climbing our way to that place too and there is no way we could stand on that stage without people that have stuck with us through good times and bad. It was hard for a while after our debut. We did not promote regularly and it felt like we would easily be forgotten but each time we came back, each milestone while we were active our not our fans supported us and showered us with love and encouragement. I hope that we can touch our Angels as much as they touch us. Without their wings to lend support there is no way we could fly as high as we are and there is no way that we could ever reach the goals we strive for everyday. Thank you so much. I promise to always do my best to make it a proud moment to be our supporters.
Thank you to Andy hyung and Shinhwa hyungdeul. There is so much we learned from all of you and that we can continue to learn. I hope that in a decade Teen Top can still be standing together even if we are long then not teenagers anymore. It is still intimidating sometimes to stand around living legends and I hope you will never stop teaching us and supporting us. Andy hyung, especially without you we wouldn't be here. So even if you're strict and it's sometimes really discouraging I am glad we have you behind us and helping us on this journey. We can't do it without you!
Minsoo hyung, Chanhee hyung, Byunghun hyung, Niel hyung, Changhyunnie... there aren't words to express how much you mean and how much I need you in my life. It is beyond friendship and I think of you all as brothers and a soul family almost. Is that too cheesy? No matter where our path leads us I know we will be together. Thank you for always supporting me even when I am difficult. Thank you for trusting me and for holding my confidence too. Let's keep running and growing and reach the top and then when we reach the top we will find a new one. I love you all.
To the friends that have stuck with me no matter how annoying or mean I can be at times -- thank you. This is a hard life sometimes and it is a comfort to know that even if I do not always show it when I need you -- you are always there. I hope you know that despite sometimes my exterior I am always here too and I always care. I love you all very much.
Oh! And thank you to Taeyang sunbaenim! You are an inspiration. Your passion, spirit and musicality inspire me and encourage me. Not everything that brought you to where you are was natural and you worked hard to become the Taeyang sunbaenim that I respect and admire. Someday I want someone to look at me and be inspired like that!
